Cannes: Americans Snubbed as Palme D'or Goes to 'Amour', Grand Jury Prize to 'Reality' Starring Jailed Murderer

The Cannes Palme D'or goes to Michael Haneke's "Amour." The Grand Prix du Jury has gone to "Reality." directed Matteo Garrone and starring incarcerated for life Aniello Arena. Ken Loach, a Cannes favorite, has won the Jury prize for "The Angels Share." The Camera D'or for Best First Film went to "Beasts of the Southern Wild," first seen at Sundance.
