General Dynamics CEO calls M&A process "broken"

General Dynamics' new CEO, Phebe Novakovic, said the company's acquisition process is broken and expressed regret about some recent buys that contributed to poor performance during 2013, particularly in the information systems and technology group. While acquisitions that support force protection and ship repair were excellent, Novakovic said, "IS&T acquisitions haven't been,"without pointing to any specific deals.
