Netflix stock soars on third quarter earnings beat

Shares of Netflix surged 20 percent Monday after the company exceeded revenue and subscription expectations for the third quarter. Some analysts had expected the Los Gatos-based company to post yet another disappointing earnings report after four consecutive quarters in which it fell short of expectations.
