Tongue-powered remote control competes for $800K MedStartr investment

A tongue-operated remote control invented by a Central Ohio software developer after a paralyzing car crash competed Monday for up to an $800,000 investment from MedStartr Fund and others in a nationwide medical technology conference. The MouthKick device by Tonguenacity LLC is among five wearable or internet-of-things devices advancing to the final round of a pitch competition from some 150 startups that went through an initial crowdfunding round.
