George Lucas has decided to build his $1 billion Museum of Narrative Art in Exposition Park, not far from his alma mater, the University of Southern California. L.A. won the project over a rival proposal in San Francisco. The decision caps a decade-long quest by the “Star Wars” creator to build a futuristic home for his personal collection, which includes memorabilia from the iconic franchise.
