Boeing secures jet deal commitments worth $23 billion at the Paris Air Show

Boeing Co. said Monday it has commitments from airlines and jet leasing companies for a slew of potential aircraft orders worth $23 billion at list prices. Boeing secured scads of commitments for its new 737 Max 10 jet, which was officially unveiled at the Paris Air Show Monday. In commercial aerospace, a commitment means the airline wants to order the airplanes from a manufacturer like Boeing, but that the jet maker and buyer have neither reached a final agreement on the purchase price nor signed…
