Another lawmaker claims sexism, ‘unwanted sexual advances’ at Legislature

State Rep. Kelly Townsend, R-Mesa, has joined another GOP lawmaker in saying they have been sexually harassed at the Arizona Legislature. Townsend said she’s seen and been victim to sexist comments, “unwanted sexual advances” and retailiation while serving at the Republican-controlled Arizona Legislature. Her comments come after Arizona Rep. Michelle Ugenti-Rita, R-Scottsdale, voiced similar worries and then last night alleged harassment from Rep. Don Shooter, R-Yuma. Shooter denies those…
