SFGate Friday, 10 November 2017 ()
If you missed it ... In a week when Twitter expanded to 280 characters, and that was nowhere near enough to list all the men in Hollywood and the media accused of sexual misconduct, this also happened: •Some actually nice news: TJX, which owns such retailers as TJ Maxx and Marshalls, is still paying workers in Puerto Rico, even those at stores that have been closed for weeks because of Hurricane Maria. “We believe it is the right thing for us to do under these circumstances,” a TJX representative told People magazine. •After getting questions from the Hawaii Tribune-Herald, eBay removed listings of sand that was supposedly taken from Hawaii beaches.
