Sandy Hook Elementary Teacher Victoria Soto Risked Her Own Life To Save Kids

*Victoria Soto*, a 27-year-old teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School, has emerged as hero in the wake of the tragedy that took place Friday morning. According to reports, Soto told her first-grade students to hide in closets and cabinets as soon as she heard the gunfire. When the shooter approached her classroom, she told him her class had gone to the gym and stepped in front of his bullets to protect the children. Soto was one of 27 who lost their lives Friday.
