North American Family Freed After Being Taken Hostage By The TalibanPakistani security forces freed an American women, her Canadian husband and their three children from captivity after being taken hostage five years ago by the Taliban in Afghanistan, CNN reported. The Pakistani army released a statement regarding their rescue and was confirmed by U.S. authorities, the report said. Caitlan Coleman, 31, and her husband Joshua Boyle, 33, were taken hostage by the Taliban in 2012 while traveling to Afghanistan and were kept in captivity since, the report said.
