Republican Alabama Senate Candidates Spar At DebateOne of the main points taken away from the Thursday night debate between interim Senator Luther Strange and the conservative challenger Roy Moore was how closely Strange was clinging to an endorsement from President Donald Trump, according to NBC News. Strange also has the support of millions from a super PAC backed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnel to help in his battle against Moore in the heated Republican runoff election to fill the Alabama Senate seat that was left open by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
