Delhi pollution: With these options and government aid, stubble burning could be thing of the past
Wednesday, 8 November 2017 () A day after pollution levels in the national capital skyrocketed to alarmingly high levels, the Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) has directed the Delhi government to impose all conditions under the severe category of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal met his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar in the wake of emergency situation with the weather of Delhi engulfed by toxic smog. Kejriwal had earlier blamed stubble burning by farmers in the nearby states of Punjab and Haryana.
Kejriwal had earlier said that Khattar had invited him to Chandigarh today for the meeting as he could not meet him in Delhi because he was very busy. Firstpost - IndiaAlso reported by •India Today •DNA
