Texas Gunman's Phone Lock Could Reignite FBI-Apple Encryption FeudThe FBI and Apple are preparing to face off against over encryption since the bureau is having difficulties in unlocking the iPhone of the dead gunman in the Texas Church shooting from this past weekend, according to The Washington Post. The federal government and technology company have avoided direct confrontation since a 2016 standoff over the locked and encrypted iPhone of the gunman who opened fire in San Bernardino, California.
