Scotland-UK Brexit Deal Appears Closer After 'Cordial' Talks Between LeadersScottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has expressed greater optimism that the Scottish and United Kingdom governments can strike a deal on Brexit after a “cordial” meeting with Prime Minister Theresa May in London, The Guardian reports. Speaking outside No 10 Downing Street, the first minister said her private meeting with the prime minister on Tuesday, which was dominated by discussions over the European Union withdrawal bill, was more fruitful than their previous encounters.
