Maharashtra: 4548 doctors lose registration for not serving in rural areas

The Maharashtra government has cancelled the registration of over 4,500 doctors for failing the mandatory service in rural areas for a year. An official release said, the decision to cancel their registration was taken by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research.
