Product Hunt acquired by AngelList for around $20 millionProduct Hunt, the popular web resource for finding new apps and products, has been acquired by startup platform Angel List.Product Hunt founder Ryan Hoover described the merger as “peanut butter and jelly” in a blog post. While AngelList focuses on fundraising and recruiting, Product Hunt helps get the word out to the world; it seems like a logical tier to add. It’s a company that’s helped launched tools and apps from individual developers to the likes of Google and Instagram. The purchase came in at around $20 million, according to Recode.
