ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES--(Marketwire - Mar 27, 2012) - Fairmont Dubai and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr are gearing into action for this year's Earth Hour. An annual event for both properties, this year's activities are set to be bigger than ever, as both teams demonstrate their continuing commitment towards environmental sustainability. For the second year in a row, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, an Abu Dhabi hotel, plans to go beyond 60 minutes by generating 24 hours of clean, renewable 'green' energy through cycling to further support the biggest climate awareness campaign from the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF), and in neighboring Dubai, the focus will be on environmental education and awareness for guests as well as colleagues.
