James Willney Artist at Harper College Studio V

James Willney currently has 6 new contemporary paintings on display for sale at Harper College's Studio V. Harper College Studio V is a newly opened venue for that one of a kind artwork. Check out the Harper College website for more detail.

These larger paintings explore creating semi abstract images of nature utilizing an airbrush. James incorporates the use of regular Acrylic's to include interference and metallic paint versions of the medium as well. Several have dried pigment that are applied and then of course sealed. The largest pieces are 48" X 48" on gallery wrapped archival canvas.

James Willney was classically trained at "The Chicago Academy of Fine Arts", in Chicago. Jim has also attended Harper College on a part time bases for credit and non-credit courses. Jim has worked in the capacities of graphic designer, art director/editorial production manager, freelance design and production, project manager, client services, photographer and needless to say is always looking for new challenges.
