BCCI turns down Wada's demand to test cricketers

Defying a sports ministry directive, the Indian cricket board (BCCI) has made it clear that it will not budge from its anti-doping policies and will not allow the government's watchdog, National Anti Doping Agency (Nada), to conduct the tests on Indian cricketers.

The Indian Cricket Board, BCCI has once again insisted that the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has no jurisdiction to conduct dope tests on the country’s international or domestic cricketers being an autonomous body affiliated to the ICC.
