Irish privacy regulators confirm Facebook wiped facial recognition data in Europe

Irish privacy regulators confirm Facebook wiped facial recognition data in EuropeAfter regulators in Ireland and Germany took Facebook to court over its face recognition technology, the social network has backtracked and pulled the feature as well as promised to get rid of the data. The Irish and German DPC have independently confirmed that Facebook's facial recognition tech and all data collected using the tech was deleted.
