Android Nougat 7.1.1 to start rolling out for Nexus devices from December 6

If you own a Nexus smartphone and have been waiting for the latest Android Nougat to embrace your device, there is good news for you. Google’s latest Android Nougat OS is reportedly set to appear on the Nexus smartphones as soon as December first week. The newest Android version 7.1.1 will power the Nexus 6P starting December 6. Earlier this week, Google released the final Android 7.1.1 Developer Preview 2 for Nexus devices hinting at the beta testing being finally over and ready for more smartphones. On Vodafone Australia’s support page, the Android Nougat 7.1.1 version will be offered as a Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) update and will be prompted on older Nexus smartphones.
