Xiaomi Redmi 4A to launch in India today; here’s everything you need to know

Launched late last year in China, Xiaomi is ready to bring the affordable Redmi 4A to India. In an invite sent out to the media, Xiaomi announced an event today in New Delhi, which kicks off at 1.15 PM. While the invite does not read the words Redmi 4A per se, the “Time To Get Smarter’ tag line and the font clearly teases the smartphone. The Redmi 4A was launched alongside the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime in Xiaomi’s home country, and was the cheapest of the lot, where it was priced at RMB 599, which translates to approximately Rs 6,000.
