Apple Mac mini is an important part of our product line going forward: Tim Cook

Apple’s portable desktop computer, the Mac mini was suddenly remembered this week as it celebrated its third anniversary since the last update. Apple last updated the Mac mini on October 16, 2014, after which it has been silent on future developments. With even the rumor mill not spinning with any updates on the Mac mini, it isn’t known as yet if there would be any refreshed version. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has now shed some light on a possible update to the Mac mini. In an email sent to Tim Cook questioning about new updates on the Mac mini, he replies saying that it is still an important Apple product. First reported by MacRumors, Cook’s response to the email reads,
