Microsoft Ships Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB4048955 for Fall Creators Update​Microsoft has released a new cumulative update for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update whose rollout started on October 17. Even though this is virtually the first Patch Tuesday rollout for the Fall Creators Update (also referred to as version 1709), KB4048955 is the second cumulative update that this new Windows 10 release gets, after an early patch that Microsoft pushed shortly after its launch. Windows 10 cumulative update pushes version number to 16299.64 and installing seems to be going quite alright, despite concerns of any potentially failed installs. The update deployed correctly on a testing machine here at Softpedia, but it’s worth mentioning that we never experienced any issue with cumulative updates on this particular system.
