The Cyrus Family Speaks Out on Loss of: The InsiderThe Insider
The Cyrus family is speaking out following the death of a bus driver from Miley Cyrus' tour who passed away this morning after a tour bus crash. "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill “Uncle Bill” Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed," the Cyrus family said in a statement posted on www.MileyCyrus.com. Earlier today, news broke that Douglas, 53, of Austin, Texas, passed away at the scene after the tour bus he was driving crashed in Virginia Friday morning. The bus was traveling along with three other buses (carrying members of Miley's production crew but not Miley) southbound on Interstate I-85 just south of Petersburg, VA, when it ran off the left side of the road and overturned. Police are currently investigating what caused the crash, which injured a second man.[Read full story on The Insider]
