Infineon, TSMC extend collaboration to 65nm

Infineon Technologies and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) on November 5 announced that their development and production partnership has been extended to a 65nm embedded flash (eFlash) process technology. Based on the agreement, Infineon and TSMC will jointly develop 65nm process technologies for eFlash microcontrollers (MCUs) for automotive, chip card and security applications.
