  Fans applaud Travoltas at premiere

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston were applauded by fans as they made their first official public appearance since the death of their 16-year-old son Jett.The actors and their daughter Ella Bleu received an incredibly warm welcome the minute they arrived at the Hollywood premiere of their new movie Old Dogs, in which all three star.The family - who have been mourning the loss of Jett, who died in January following a seizure - showed a united front, briefly signing autographs for fans before walking into the special screening together, tightly holding hands.Nine-year-old Ella Bleu makes her feature film debut in the comedy, playing the long-lost daughter of actor Robin Williams's character.Speaking on the red carpet, Robin described working with John and his family as "a blast"."John just makes you feel wonderful, there's a thing about him that you see him and you start to go 'wow', it's a warmth," he said."I've kind of joked that he's a human panda, you see him and you go, 'ahhhh' and he's very sweet that way, there's a kindness that I think radiates from him."Seth Green, who also stars in the movie, was also pleased to see John and Kelly at the special screening: "They're both so excited about introducing their daughter to the world, this being her first movie, and it's the first movie that they also both got to make together, so they're really excited about that."
