Today's Gold Settled $10.10 Higher... ($1116.70) The Commerce department reported the trade deficit jumped 18.2% in September to $35.5 billion. This is the largest trade deficit since January 2009. This trade data helped to fuel the rally in the Gold and Equities markets. The Comex Gold market covered a $12.50 range and settling 80 cents off the high ($1117.50).
