The government unveiled a general outline of rescue measures for Japan Airlines Corp. on Tuesday that promises a reduction in corporate pension benefits and bridge loans to keep the cash-strapped airline operational. But the announcement at a hastily set up press conference lacked crucial details on special legislation to ensure mandatory pension cuts and the amount of short-term financing that will be provided to Japan's top airline.
