VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov.
3, 2009) - Nevada Copper Corp.
(TSX:NCU) ("Nevada Copper") is pleased to announce the closing of its previously announced private placement in the amount of CDN$11.25 million (the "Private Placement") by Capstone Mining Corp.
("Capstone").
A summary of significant terms of this strategic investment by Capstone in Nevada Copper, pursuant to an investment agreement between Capstone and Nevada Copper (the "Investment Agreement"), include the following:
Private Placement.
Capstone has subscribed for 4,500,000 units (the "Units") of Nevada Copper, each Unit consisting of one common share (a "Common Share") and one-half of a transferable common share purchase warrant (a "Warrant") at a price of $2.50 per Unit for total consideration of $11.25 million.
