BUYING VINTAGE means you breathe new life into old items. It’s recycling writ large. Wild Child Originals in Harold’s Cross, Dublin 12 (087-2386143) has a selection of Danish design classics at hard-to-beat prices. These include this rare 1950s first edition PK22 by Poul Kjaerholm, reduced from €5,000 to €2,500; a 1952 Hans Wegner chair, reduced from €895 to €400 – there are two of these available and there’s a black leather two-seater sofa, reduced from €1,200 to €475.
