All those that were made to feel unconformable by Cho Aniki are in for a heart-throbbing shock. Aksys Games has announced that it plans to port the game over to the PlayStation Portable for North Americans as well. The truly unique shooter will be available as a downloadable item and is bound to stir some old feelings back to life. As the latest entry in the series, Cho Aniki Zero was launched in Japan earlier this year. Similar to Cho Aniki: Seinaru Protein Densetsu on the PlayStation 2, the game will be a 2.5D shooter and it will feature “five man-mazing levels of love,” along with multiple endings, depending on the result that each gamer manages to accomplish. If this is not something to get excited about, I couldn't imagine what could be. Perhaps, a “Cho Dead or Alive” version or something in the same idea could raise more interest, but it's doubtful. According to Associate Producer Frank deWindt II, “Cho Aniki Zero is a real trip. It's wacky, hilarious, and just plain fun. Be it the crazy characters, the challenging gameplay, or even the out-of-this-world enemies, you'll find yourself chugging down protein shakes between levels before you know it!” Even if that happens, there probably won't be a lot of people willing to publicly admit it.
