coming up. let's send it back to you. >> jury selection,ed whole ball game for both sides. >> jon: legal teams of roof traffic back in federal court downtown this morning. hundreds more potential jurors expected to file in. brodie hart is already downtown for us this morning. >> tessa: we know this is federal court and there are no cameras allowed, but we are getting some olympic from a man who has seen plenty of these hearings before, right? >> brodie: the only real images are those we get from the sketch artist. they show roof talking with his legal team and smiling at one point. some describe him as smug and confident, and that demeanor changed once potential jurors walked in. ep was facing them throughout the day, but at that point he was emotionless staring at a lap not really making eye contact with the potential jurors that came in in groups of 80. only occasionally did he look up. without a camera for sketch artist to describe what he put down on paper. >> i was trying to capture in this days his sort of a smugness that i noticed, a sort of smiling, laughing at all the jokes and i wanted to capture that. like he's enjoying himself a little bit. that's what i was getting. in this case, it is hard to separate your feelings about a person from your job. objectively. to get the information down for people to see. >> brodie: they had to walk right past roof as they were leaving and entering the courtroom. the judge did dismiss several jurors for various reasons and they had to fill out a questionnaire. there were about 300 questionnaires filled out. we will look at the demographics of the potential jury pool coming up. the results
