Congratulations to Today Show Host Matt Lauer! According to the New York Post, the co-host of NBC’s morning show got an offer he couldn't refuse. Lauer will reportedly continue to stay with the show banking an annual payday of $20 million well into 2018. Lauer made his debut on “Today” as co-anchor in 1997. The Post story said the new deal may have been clinched months ago, but did not specify exactly when.
