Duration: 00:55s - Published: < > Embed
News video: Senate Intelligence Panel Will Investigate Russia HackingThe leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee said they will investigate allegations Russia used cyber attacks to influence the U.S. presidential election. This would include any links between Russia and the political campaigns. The committee plans to interview senior officials of both the Trump and Obama administrations. They also may issue subpoenas to compel testimony. The probe follows U.S. intelligence agencies finding that the Russian government was likely involved in a covert campaign, which interfered in the U.S. election. They also carried out cyber-attacks on Democratic Party organizations. President-elect Donald Trump cast doubt on U.S. intelligence assessments that Russia was involved, but said the country probably did it at a recent press conference.
