'a day without immigrants'. brandon: right now in downtown memphis ... hundreds of demonstrators are rallying in support of immigrants ... and their impact in a broad range of jobs. local 24's brad broders is there. brad... where did the rally and march start? brad: brandon and katina - this march began at the clayborn temple as we approach the rally end point at the national civil rights museum. demonstrators are primarily dressed in red white and blue to show their pride in america and solidarity as immigrants. we've seen signs which include 'we the people' and 'education not deportation. again this rally caps the observance earlier today of 'a day without immigrants." several memphis businesses participated. that included a southeast memphis car repair shop - a lawyer's office on mount moriah - and several taco trucks on jackson avenue. supporters say the work no-show and this rally aims to combat rhetoric against undocumented immigrants and refugees. reporting live in downtown memphis - brad broders - local 24 news. brad: katina:
