Transcript: WH Press Secretary Unsure if Trump Will Read Hillary Clinton's 'Sad' Book

“Whether or not he is going to read Hillary Clinton’s book, I'm not sure.” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders doesn’t know if President Trump will read Hillary Clinton’s memoir about the 2016 election… Sanders told reporters, “I would think that he’s well versed on what happened.” Adding that she thinks it’s pretty clear to all of America as well — she went on to blast Clinton’s promotion for her book, “What Happened.” “I think it’s sad to think that after running one of the most negative campaigns in history, “the last chapter of [Clinton's] public life will now be defined by propping up book sales with false and reckless attacks.” ABC News reports that, in the book, Clinton calls Trump the “perfect Trojan horse” for Vladimir Putin and asks: "I sometimes wonder: If you add together [Trump's] time spent on golf, Twitter and cable news, what's left?” Clinton is embarking on a 15-city “Hillary Clinton Live” tour this fall.
