More than 70 people have been arrested at protests against Palestine Action being designated a proscribed terrorist group.

Palestine Action is a pro-Palestinian organisation which disrupts the arms industry in the United Kingdom with direct action. Key targets have been British factories of Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems. In their campaigns, Palestine Action have used protest, occupation of premises, destruction of property, and vandalism, which sometimes resulted in its members being arrested.
