ASX to slide; AUD hits new 3-year high as oil, iron ore rise

ASX futures point to an early decline for the local sharemarket after a weak performance on Wall Street overnight. The Aussie Dollar hit a fresh three-year high of 79.29 US cents as commodities continued to climb.
