Gov. Andrew Cuomo won the Democratic nomination for governor Thursday. Cuomo, who has been in office since 2011, will face Republican candidate Marc Molinaro, the Dutchess County executive, in the general election Nov. 6. Cuomo won the primary election against actress and activist Cynthia Nixon. So far this year, he has spent more than $21.4 million as he seeks a third term. He has raised significantly more money than his opponents. Eleven days before the primary, Cuomo had more than $16 million…
