Pacific Fleet Submarine Memorial Association to break ground on $20M USS Bowfin museum renovation

The Pacific Fleet Submarine Memorial Association plans to break ground on Monday on a $20 million project to renovate its campus at the USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park at Pearl Harbor, and officials say the historic USS Bowfin submarine will remain open during construction. The project, which has been in the works since 2017 when the USS Bowfin rebranded, includes a 3,000-square-foot expansion of the museum, which opened in 1988.
