General Assembly set to pick up the pace

Starting Monday, the General Assembly will be making up for lost time. After a slow start due in part to staying out of the way of the Super Bowl, lawmakers have adopted a schedule for the remainder of the 40-day session that will have them under the Gold Dome for four five-day work weeks and three four-day weeks. The only weekday off during the next three weeks will take place on Monday, Feb. 18, the Presidents' Day holiday. With such a hectic pace, the General Assembly will have to get to work…
