Allegheny Health Network and Highmark Health celebrated the opening of a new, $35 million cancer and imaging center at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville on Wednesday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the 63,000-square-foot center, the first of its kind in Pittsburgh's eastern suburbs. The center offers patients access to multi-disciplinary cancer and imaging care — including medical and radiation oncology care, cancer clinical trials, and state-of-the-art imaging — in one location.
