The U.S. Senate Thursday overwhelmingly approved a long-awaited $19.1 billion disaster relief bill that would send $3 billion to farmers in Georgia and other states who suffered crop losses from Hurricane Michael. The relief package was held up for months by a dispute between President Donald Trump and congressional Democrats over the portion of the money headed for victims of Hurricane Maria, which struck Puerto Rico in 2017.
