Hurricane Dorian appears to be causing less damage to the eastern Carolinas than once feared, as Duke Energy Corp. (NYSE: DUK) reports about 210,000 customers have lost power to the winds and flooding caused by the now-Category 1 hurricane. By Friday afternoon, Duke had already restored power to about 140,000 customers.
