Here's the latest hotel to open in Portland

Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland is officially open. Hyatt Hotels Corp. (NYSE: H) said Monday the hotel at 601 SW 11th Ave. has 220 rooms and stands a short distance from local landmarks such as Powell’s Books. The hotel has three meeting spaces and a 24-hour fitness center, among other features. Chef Jose Chesa will lead the hotel's restaurant, Masia, which will serve Catalan and Spanish-inspired food, Hyatt said.
