CytoDyn Inc (OTCMKTS:CYDY), which is developing leronlimab (PRO 140) to treat different types of breast cancer and other diseases, announced Thursday the US Food and Drug Administration has recommended it request a preliminary Breakthrough Therapy designation meeting. Meanwhile, the Vancouver, Washington-based company also reported positive data for its patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC) and metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Clinical results from the first cancer patient in CytoDyn's Phase 1b/2 mTNBC: the patient’s earlier CT scan indicated a more than 25% tumor shrinkage within the first few weeks of treatment with leronlimab and carboplatin (a chemotherapy drug).  Explorex Resources Inc (CSE:EX) (OTCMKTS:EXPXF) said Wednesday that the company received shareholder approval for its acquisition of Singapore-based Raffles Financial Private Limited, and a corporate move from British Columbia to the Cayman Islands. The junior miner said that its previously announced plan of arrangement has been approved by shareholders at an annual general and special meeting on March 9. The arrangement involves spinning out of certain assets of Explorex to Origen Resources Inc. At the meeting, a special resolution backed the arrangement by 99.87% of the votes cast by Explorex shareholders.  Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) and its partners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week to celebrate the completed construction of two wind turbines that will supply 5 megawatts of renewable energy to its subsidiary Agri-Energy’s production plant in Luverne, Minnesota. The electricity will be wired directly to Agri-Energy and is expected to be available beginning in April. The shift from fossil fuels to renewable wind power helps the company achieve a lower carbon intensity score under the Low Carbon Fuel Standard in California. Gevo is partnered with clean energy firm Juhl Energy and Harrison Street Investors. Q BioMed Inc (OTCMKTS:QBIO), the biomedical group, has announced another milestone - the first patient dosing of its cancer bone pain drug Strontium89. The firm expects this to be the first of thousands of patients dosed with the FDA approved non-opioid drug in the coming years. "With an estimated 10 million people living with bone metastases, we expect that even a small penetration in this market will have dramatic effects on QBioMed’s future," said Q BioMed CEO Denis Corin. This first dosing in a commercial setting comes after Q Biomed completed an initial commercial production run and shipment last month (February). KinerjaPay Corp (OTCMKTS:KPAY) said Thursday that CEO Edwin W Ng, who is also the company's chairman, is investing $1 million into the Jakarta-based company to accelerate the lending platform’s growth.  Investors are likely to interpret Ng’s investment as a vote of confidence in the company. "I decided to inject my own capital from recent asset sales to jumpstart our micro-lending operation, using our KFUND platform. The opportunity for the company to rapidly grow in Indonesia's alternative lending market is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” said Ng in a statement. Ideanomics Inc (NASDAQ:IDEX) subsidiary Mobile Energy Global (MEG) has received a new vehicle order from truck services firm Zhitong 3000's holding company Jiangsu Linghao Network Technology Co Ltd. The order consists of three sub-purchases - 3,000 units of heavy haulage transportation vehicles for 400,000 RMB (US$57,000), 1,000 units of heavy dump trucks for the transportation of slag and mining ore for 420,000 RMB (US$60,000) and 800 passenger-class cars for160,000 RMB (US$23,000). The vehicles will be procured from a variety of manufacturers within MEG’s alliance of partners, the company said. The order will be subject to a rolling delivery schedule throughout 2020. Hillcrest Petroleum Ltd (CVE:HRH) (OTCMKTS:HLRTF) said Thursday that oil production from its West Hazel field in Saskatchewan was stable and it is looking to lift output by re-completing an existing well when it secures funding. Current production revenues are expected to continue to cover the junior oiler's operating expenses amid current low crude prices, it told investors. "Plans and permits are in place to re-complete an existing well in an up-hole, oil-bearing, zone which is estimated to add 50-100 barrels oil production per day," the Vancouver-based firm said in a statement Thursday. Costs to re-complete the well and for the associated production is expected to be less than C$200,000. Pressure BioSciences Inc (OTCMKTS:PBIO) has received a purchase order from a new customer for its proprietary BaroShear K45 Ultra Shear Technology platform for processing CBD oil. In a statement Thursday, the Massachusetts-based company said Can B Corp (OTCMKTS:CANBD) issued the purchased order for its UST system that processes CBD oil into stable, effectively water-soluble, highly absorbable nanoemulsions of oil in water. Such nanoemulsions are expected to exhibit levels of bioavailability that far exceed the absorption efficiency of today's macro or microemulsions of CBD oil. In a statement, Salt Lake City, Utah-based Co-Diagnostics said the meeting is set for March 18, and will evaluate the response to the coronavirus outbreak and implications for preparedness. Parallax Health Sciences Inc (OTCMKTS:PRLX) subsidiary Parallax Health Management Inc has made its Good Health Outcomes remote patient monitoring app available to doctors and patients in the US. The scalable platform has been provisioned to accommodate COVID-19 (coronavirus) and can be used securely by authorized care providers to provide approved telehealth services, the company said. Good Health Outcomes provides real-time secure audio and video conferencing and is able to transmit biometric data captured by temperature and respiratory monitoring devices. Dunnedin Ventures Inc (CVE:DVI) (OTCMKTS:OTCFF), which is changing its name to Kodiak Copper Corp, told investors Thursday that it has now closed its previously announced placing, raising C$2.8 million gross. (CVE:NSAU) said that, further to the news release dated February 21, 2020, it has closed the acquisition of five mineral claims for a total of 3,067 hectares, located in the Similkameen mining division approximately seven and 20 kilometres northwest of Copper Mountain. The claims were acquired from arm's-length vendors in consideration of the sum of $125,000 and six million fully paid and non-assessable common shares.
