On another dreadful day for Wall Street, Oregon stocks weren't alone in their travails. The Dow 30 lost 2,352 points, or 9.9 percent, on Thursday while the S&P 500 lost 9.5 percent of its value. The Nasdaq lost 9.43 percent. It was the worst day since the 1987 crash.
