The stay-at-home executive order issued by Mecklenburg County this week in response to the coronavirus pandemic had some in the homebuilding and commercial real estate industries unsure of how their business may be affected. The executive order is effective Thursday for 21 days, through the middle of April, and allows a number of "essential" services and businesses, such as grocery stores and pharmacies, to operate.
