Thai, Asian markets resume losses as stimulus joy fades

HONG KONG: Thai and other Asian markets fell Monday, with the benchmark Stock Exchange of Thailand index down 1.67% at 11.55am, following a steep drop on Wall Street as the jubilation from last week's enormous US stimulus package faded and investors returned their attention to the soaring infection and death rate of the coronavirus.
